Apple Valley Rotary Foundation – Grant Submission Instructions
Step 1: Review Eligibility and Guidelines
Before applying, please review our Board Considerations for Project Proposals.
Your project should:

Align with Rotary’s mission and the Foundation’s giving priorities.

Provide a clear community benefit (local, national, or international).

Demonstrate sustainable and measurable impact.
-
Show responsible use of funds and accountability.
Step 2: Complete the Request Form
Download and complete the Grant Request Form (fillable PDF preferred).
You will need to provide:

Project or recipient name and contact information.
-
Dollar amount requested and requested check date.
-
Rotarian sponsor details.
-
A description of the project, including who will benefit.
-
Supporting materials (photos, history, future plans, PowerPoint, etc.).
Step 3: Specify Use of Funds
Clearly indicate how funds will be used. Categories may include:

Food, clothing, toys, transportation, gifts.
-
Education, classes, or training.
-
Building materials or tools.
-
Event sponsorship.
-
Organization supplies or general operating needs.
-
Other (please describe in detail).
Step 4: Submission Process

Deadline: September 30 & March 1
-
Preferred Method: Email your completed form to the Foundation Chair or another board member.

Please submit electronically whenever possible to assist with tracking.
