TOPIC: Navigating Life with Purpose
Although retiring over 20 years ago, Chuck continued to work part time at Robert Half International (RHI) until Covid. Throughout his full-time years with RHI, he primarily focused on recruiting and placing accounting and finance professionals (from entry level through CFO’s) for Twin City based companies (public, private and non-profits). At the same time, he also managed branch operations. During his semi-retirement years, his varied duties included business development, sales training, mentoring, and serving as the RHI representative at local professional, financial organizations.
Chuck has served for many years on the local board of HIRED (www.hired.org), which helps the disadvantaged in their search for gainful employment. He also serves as a strategic advisor to LINC Ministries (linc.org) and a mentor for accounting students at Hamline University.
Chuck firmly believes in stretching your mind and body with purpose. As a result, over the years he has traveled throughout the world for both adventure and humanitarian reasons (Patagonia, New Zealand, South Africa, France, Colorado 14’ers, Morocco, Iceland, Cuba, the Amazon, Tour Mt Blanc, Vietnam (101st Airborne Division), India, Sri Lanka, the Galapagos and all 50 states. A recent adventure included a trip to the North Pole on a Russian Ice Breaker.
Chuck received his BS in Business/Accounting from the University of Minnesota.

For the meeting of September 25, 2024 there are 35 cards and 3 Jokers. The pot stands at $266.00. Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $3 for 5 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again.
