Parents, researchers, pediatricians, and front-line mental-health providers are all saying the same thing: there is a mental health crisis impacting youth in America.
One out of every three teens in America reported that
the state of their mental health was poor.
Many teens have persistent feelings of sadness,
loneliness, and hopelessness.
Many teens are struggling with depression and anxiety.
LFTreehouse is facing these facts head on:
Teens are looking for HOPE, for POSITIVE
INSPIRATION, for ROLE MODELS, for
a SENSE OF WORTH AND BELONGING.
LFTreehouse is out in our community providing real support for teens through:
connection with leaders who genuinely care about teens’ space to listen and to be heard in small-group settings with opportunities for service to the community and each other
large-group discussions focusing on the positive behaviors that lead to a healthy and productive life, and where appropriate, an introduction to eternal hope in Jesus.
For the meeting of July 17, 2024 there are 44 cards and 3 Jokers. The pot stands at $146.00. Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $3 for 5 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again.
