What's New This Week! SPEAKER: Jess B, Community Advocate TOPIC: Violence Prevention and Intervention Program with 360 Communities
Jess B is a Community Advocate in the Violence Prevention and Intervention Program with 360 Communities. Just a few days ago, she celebrated her 6-year anniversary with 360 Communities. Jess started as an intern at the Lewis House while completing a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas. After completing an internship, Jess continued to work at Lewis House as a part-time shelter advocate for approximately a year until she transitioned into the role of Community Advocate, where she has been ever since! As a Community Advocate, Jess has office spaces in both the South St. Paul and Mendota Heights Police Departments, although throughout the years, she has provided services and made connections to individuals throughout Dakota County. As an advocate, Jess is passionate about supporting individuals by meeting them where they are on their journey and providing resources, support, and education. |
