Jane Palmer is the Minnesota Program Director for Give Something Back. Give Back is a national non-profit organization dedicated to serving youth with significant adverse childhood experiences by providing personal coaching, purposeful curriculum, educational and support services. Give Back empowers students to build resilience, overcome obstacles, and develop a pathway to post-secondary education to achieve a sustainable, meaningful career and brighter future.
Jane has extensive experience in corrections and non-profit management, working with individuals and families affected by poverty, incarceration, substance abuse, trauma, and disability. Her experience includes serving as a county probation officer, Executive Director of the MOMS Mentoring Program, Re-Entry Manager with Prison Fellowship, and Ministry Relations Manager with Joni and Friends International Disability Ministry. Jane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Corrections, and a Master of Science degree in Human Services Planning and Administration. She has served on the YMCA and FISH (Individuals and Families Sharing Hope) boards, and currently serves on the Northwest Conference Executive Board of the ECC. She is also a certified trainer for Bridges out of Poverty.
Jane is passionate about working with individuals and families who have been marginalized and live without hope or future vision. She is married to her husband, Hal, and they have three young adult children.

For the meeting of November 1, 2023 there are 30 cards and 3 Jokers. The pot stands at $625.00. Ticket donations are: $1 for 1 ticket; $2 for 3 tickets; $3 for 5 tickets; $5 for 10 tickets; and $10 for 25 tickets. Three lucky winners are chosen each week; the first two tickets drawn win $5, the third winner draws a card from the deck in hopes of pulling an Ace to win a share of the pot. If a joker is pulled, it will cost the winner a $2 contribution to the pot. If the Ace of Spades is pulled, the pot is awarded equally to all who have pulled an Ace from the current deck, and the drawing starts over again.
