The current need for donations is greater than ever. In light of the pandemic, the AVRSF is organizing a different event to replace the car raffle in 2020/2021.
The Rotary Club of Apple Valley was chartered in 1985 and in 1997 organized the Apple Valley Rotary Scholarship Foundation (AVRSF). Since 2009, the Apple Valley Rotary Scholarship Foundation has donated over $335,000 through sponsorship events. Previous fundraising efforts included:
- Rose sales, Poinsettia sales, Christmas basket sales, Placemat advertising sales, Pull-tab sales, Champagne omelet breakfasts, Root Beer Float Sales, Garage sale, Golf tournaments, Cash prize raffles / dinners, Live & silent auctions / dinners, Go-Kart races and concerts, and Car raffles (cancelled due to COVID-19 this year).
